The food is top-notchThe meatloaf, chicken pot pie,lasagna are all must tries. Call ahead to see what the daily specials areAnd if you haven't had the home fries with ranch then you're missing outIf you go at peak times you may have to wait a few minutes but don't panic the foods worth it

My family and I have known the owner for years. Very nice guy. The food is good and the people are very nice. It's kind of a meeting place for the surrounding community.

Our family loves cheeks convenient store and grill. Very friendly environment,very clean, and great food. We have never been disappointed with service, price, or quality. The owner and employees have always been friendly and helpful. Thank you all!

I stop here for lunch on my route several times. Do have some room for a few trucks but not much. The waitresses are always super nice and fairly quick for a busy lunch time. They always have different specials for each day of the week. They do have a decently vast menu from breakfast to lunch and dinner. I have had burgers, tenders, fries, grilled chicken wraps, and a grilled chicken salad. Prices are pretty reasonable as well. Only reason I have given less that 5 stars ok atmosphere is because usually there is some loud mouth people that just come and stand around in the store part and talk and be obnoxiously loud and cuss out loud to the fact everyone in the restaurant can hear it.Update! Had the cheese burger steak with green beans and a side salad! Absolutely phenomenal! Love stopping here for lunch!

Great spot for breakfast or lunch. The food is great, service outstanding and a great, local, atmosphere. Unpretentious, comfortable, and down to earth. Our favorite place for breakfast in the Lenoir / Happy Valley area. :)
